Abstract

There are several kinds of fuzzy sets extensions in the fuzzy set theory, for example, intuitionistic fuzzy sets,
interval valued fuzzy sets, vague sets etc. In this Chapter, we apply the notion of a bipolar fuzzy n-fold KU-ideal
of KU-algebras. We introduce the concept of a bipolar fuzzy n-fold KU-ideal and investigate several properties.
Bipolar-valued fuzzy sets are an extension of fuzzy sets whose membership degree range is enlarged from the
interval [0, 1] to [-1, 1]. Also, we give relations between a bipolar fuzzy n-fold KU-ideal and an n-fold KUideal.
The image and the inverse image of bipolar fuzzy n-fold KU-ideals in KU-algebras are defined and how
the image and the inverse image of bipolar fuzzy n-fold KU-ideals in KU-algebras become bipolar fuzzy n-fold
KU-ideals are studied. Moreover, the Cartesian product of bipolar fuzzy n-fold KU-ideals in Cartesian product
KU-algebras is given.
