Abstract

To make drugs serve their purpose, various chemical and instrumental techniques were introduced, as well as regular intervals involved in drug estimation. To measure the concentration of specific metal ions, including sodium, potassium, lithium, and calcium, in inorganic chemical analysis, a photoelectric flame photometer is utilised. Due to their low excitation energies, metals in Groups 1 and 2 are particularly sensitive to flame photometry. These medications acquire contaminants during various phases of their production, transportation, and storage, making them dangerous to administer and allowing for their detection and quantification. Analytical tools and procedures are essential for this. This review highlights a variety of analytical techniques for analysis of inorganic elements. Atomic spectroscopy is the most commonly used technique for determining inorganic elements. The different branches of atomic absorption spectroscopy are (1) flame photometry or flame atomic emission spectrometry. (2) atomic absorption spectrophotometer, (aas). (3) inductively coupled plasma-atomic emission spectrometry (icp-aes). (4) uv - visible spectrophotometer.
