Abstract

A few key processes or themes in hydrology and environmental changes have been studied collectively by colleagues, as summarized in this integrated book. Chapters 1-3 illustrated calculation or evaluation methods for lake evaporation, forest interception and transpiration. Chapters 4-5 introduced identification and characterization methods for hydrological drought propagation. Chapter 6-7 presented some examples of applying catchment models. Chapter 8-12 presented studies of long-term changes in ice cover and phenology. Chapers 13-14 introdued briefly fertilizer effect on dissoved organic carbon in forest, and forest fire characterization.
